    Look up polling.

This is a good video to get a feel of what is going on.

Well , Im not a Trump fan but Trump is a show man for many years, he can easily turn things around. You can hope Sanders to win but its better to watch what Trump does next. His popularity is rising -because he is data driven from last election. His target group is absolutely precise. Cambridge Analytica did an excellent job for the US republican, UK conservatives and Brexit election. The data was recent and the psycoprofile they did is still valid.

When it isn't white Christians dying the UN and the world is slow to take action.

A very unfortunate reality, the constant failure of leadership and the betrayal is the root cause. Even a stronger economic stability and strong defense capabilities can ensure at least this wont happen in our border. In this current reality, it is obvious a nation cannot rely on others to resolve matters. We cannot expect UN or India or China to resolve matter for our interest. We have to deal with this with our own capacity. We failed to get enough attention from the world media but later overall world media attention gave a positive reputation for us while a disaster for the Myanmar. It has given the opportunity to explore other areas and gave enough momentum that our top brass decided to shift their doctrine which is reflecting from many of our procurement program.

  3. The shameless lady hitler Suchi is disgustingly anti Muslim , liar and supporting whole heartedly the barbaric act of genocide committed by the regime against her own Muslim Rohingyas. Some says during her student life she was ditched by her then Pakistani Muslim boy friend !! Since then she is suffering islamophobia. What a b***h , alas on my child hood she was an inspiration of democracy but turnout to be a monster ! So far no action by the UN

During Sheikh Hasina's four-day visit to New Delhi in April 2017, Bangladesh and India signed two defence agreements, the first such agreements between India and any of its neighbours. Under the agreements, the militaries of the two countries will conduct joint exercises and training. India will help Bangladesh set up manufacturing and service centres for defence platforms that both countries possess with the aim of achieving self-sufficiency in defence manufacturing in Bangladesh, and will also provide the Bangladesh military with expert training, and technical and logistic support. India also extended its first ever defence-related line of credit to a neighbouring country, by providing Bangladesh with $500 million to purchase defence equipment.

Since the love affair is so high I wonder why India gave kilo class sub to Myanmar and direct or indirectly supports Myanmar over Bangladesh !! So far no strong words for Rohingya genocide either. Supporting Bangladesh wholeheartedly can be a wise move. No buts or ifs.

  5. The fictional "Umbrella Corporation" from the game "Resident Evil" shares a logo with a biotech lab in Wuhan, Hubei Province in China, where a new coronavirus is believed to have originated!

Social media posts claimed that the logo of a biotech lab in Wuhan, the Chinese city at the center of the January 2020 outbreak, was eerily similar to the logo of the Umbrella Corporation. Furthermore, these posts noted how “corona” was an anagram for “racoon,” the city at the center of “Resident Evil.”

I was born and bought up in Kuwait but live in Germany now. As you can imagine the middle eastern countries treat Bangladeshis as dirt and I'm glad because it taught me that there's only one place on the planet that I can be safe from racism and from people who want to look down on me because of my race or nationality.

I have always disliked going to the embassy in Kuwait, the staff are very very disrespectful and make a fuss about anything and everything.

This was fine until my father died (Kuwait) and we couldn't lay him to rest until 6 days after due to the sheer incompetence and total lack of human compassion from the embassy staff. They aren't above letting a dead man rot until you pay them their bribe. In the end we had him laid to rest in Kuwait without the embassies consent and the authorities were very very respectful and helped us out as much as possible. The same Arabs who look down on you, atleast have the understanding that dead people need to be laid to rest asap.

Another embassy fiasco in Berlin, they couldn't pay the rent for embassy building and were evicted. They then worked the services out of the ambassador's villa.  What they did with the money the government provides them with for embassy services and rent is anybody's guess.

May Allah grant your father jannah. It is a disgrace the way these embassy people treat others. Arrogance and corruption deeply rooted in our culture and within our society but a positive change is happening.

  7. A nurse in Wuhan who insists in a shocking online video that close to 90,000 people in China have the disease, far more than the 1,975 reported by officials.

“I am in the area where the coronavirus started,” her video begins. Wuhan is the epicenter of the outbreak.

“I’m here to tell the truth,” the anonymous nurse says in the video, which shows her wearing a full-head face mask.

“At this moment, Hubei province, including the Wuhan area, even China, 90,000 people have been infected by a coronavirus.”

Exactly ! that is what I'm trying to say. Even Obama failed to do any such major policy reversals despite having more popularity and despite being more accepted than Sanders. 3 major promises: Geetting out of Iraq and Afghanistan and closing Guantanamo has not materialized so far !

I dont think there will be any major shift in policy and I would expect another Trump tenure in coming years so dont bother engaging your brain thinking Sanders has chance. The boost of defense budget by Trump is a good news for Bangladesh , not so a good news that 900 bases will be closed due to a new POTUS in power.

Also delighted to see we have a stronger ties now and it is preferable to have decommissioned ships from US then some Chinese ! might have Coronavirus on them who knows!

Don't expect anything, Bangladesh government is expert in ignoring NRBs like they don't exist, only time they remember us is when they need remittance.

They especially good at neglecting those of us in the Middle East who are the ones who actually send money back to the country after toiling in desert heat, instead of opening restaurants in England and then having kids who don't identify as bangali and who then have the audacity to call the motherland a shithole.

The embassy staff where I live are uneducated and behave like kings, they behave like they're doing us a favour by attesting certificates.

    Sorry for the rant. (edit)

You are not wrong and I was surprised to see some of the videos few years back on how Bangladeshi ambassador in Qatar giving speeches insulting NRBs or Embassy staff assaulting our hard working brothers or NRB kids being beaten up by local political thugs in Sylhet ! Can you blame them for calling that? Understandably government highest policy makers are doing their best but its the mid management is not doing enough. The incompetence and the arrogance of the officials are very unprofessional. I was once stopped at the airport by few undercover police tried something out of me but when they realized they will be in trouble they quickly cleared my way out. NRBs are not only can contribute by sending remittance but also offer expertise, knowledge and skills can have positive impact for the growth. By the way where you are residing?

Bangladesh's defence budget is 1.2% of GDP, its the second lowest in the region after Bhutan.

https://www.sipri.org/sites/default/files/Data for all countries from 1988–2018 in constant (2017) USD (pdf).pdf

You are kind of right about the GDP allocation ratio, Bangladesh Armed forces received 3.87 Billion dollar allocation what is 8.3% of its Total Budget. The size of Bangladesh GDP is now US$ 302.4 billion. The size of the proposed budget for FY2019-20 is USD 62.28 Billion Dollar.

A tiny rise in the Yearly allocation. The 2019 -2020 defense budget also amounts to 8.3% of total annual government expenditure and about 1.5% of GDP.

If the perpetrators of this genocide; Myanmar, get to walk away scratch free it will indeed be a gross miscarriage of justice and only embolden the regime in Myanmar and other like them around the World.

One must wonder had the rohingya been Christian or white Europeans the situation would have been very different.

Couldn’t agree more but the mindset of dealing the brutal regime and expectations of foreign intervention always high. Why not we deal them directly and demonstrate the leadership ? Why Gambia was the one who took this to ICJ ? Simply Lacks of courage !

I'm all for helping Burmese groups as long as they not Muslim. Radicalization of Muslims will have a spill over into Bangladesh that we should strictly avoid. Moreover, so called islamic terrorism game will emerge and things will get out of our control.

Yes lesson was learned from Pakistan but then again same strategy played by India was so successful !
