The 2nd batch of Type-053H3 is most probably the last batch of off-the-shelf frigates for BN. It would be best if BN bought the Maestrale class instead of Type-053H3s.

Bangladesh Navy has no option but to purchase more second hand warships. Officers from the Navy went to China to inspect some of their Type 054s and have also been to Italy for the mentioned vessels. It will take a good 10 years before CDDL delivers all six guided missile frigates and meanwhile the existing warships such as BNS Osman will have to be replaced.

TigerShark
It should be the other way around isn't it? BAF needs to get training for EFT pilots on a big scale from Britain and Italy. F-16 training can be taken in Turkey, Pakistan, Singapore and US itself.
