This is what worries me about inducting Chinese fighter jets. You can never have the same degree of control over design to iron out flaws when you are reliant upon intellectual theft to put it together  in the first place.

When fighter jets malfunction, they fall off the sky. You cannot pull over in the middle of the sky to troubleshoot.

BAF should go full Western for now and then explore additional Russian options for fall back in case of sanctions.

J-10 is sort of proven. At least they will not fall from sky like rocks as China is mass producing. This shows that it is now matured product

The Chinese tend to suppress leaks on equipment failure. Having a strictly controled media helps.

The one-sided stories of "success" on regulaged Chinese forums should be taken with a tonne of salt.

The Chinese are mass-producing J-10s not necessarily because they are a success but due to their goal of self-relaince.

Dozen of fatal J-10 crashes may have occured which we do not know of.

Aircraft developed from stolen designs are bound to have limitations.
