Members of Army distribute relief from their ration in Rangamati

Members of Bangladesh Army on Wednesday distributed relief materials in some remote areas of Rangamati from the ration allocated for themselves.

The relief goods were distributed among the people of Mitingachhari, Shuvolong, Nirban Nagar areas under Barkal upazila and of some other remote areas under Sadar upazila.

Lt Colonel Rafikul Islam PSC, Zone commander, Rangamati led the relief distribution program.

He said, “As per directives from the government, we are working to help the civil administration tackle this crisis.”

They also urged people to follow the basic instructions such as refraining from going outside without any emergency, washing hands properly, wearing face masks while going out of home, and maintaining health advice.
